Never a Dull Moment

Social Activities for the Active Retiree

It’s true! Twin Creeks Retirement throws the best parties in town. But we don’t stop there. Our calendar is stocked full with interesting things to do for everyone, whether you want an active, outgoing adventure, or you just want to relax and enjoy an entertainment program.

Our programs are designed to enlighten, stimulate and entertain our residents. View our photo gallery to see just how active and fun our residents are.

The Power of Community

We are able to offer more (and more frequently) exciting and fun events for our residents by banding together as a team with our local sister communities—Horton Plaza and Fountain Plaza. We also have an incredible resident travel program featuring two annual trips, a fall trip to a destination in mainland North America and a spring trip to an international or beach destination. For the resident travel program, we team up with our local sister communities, as well as our sister communities Whispering Winds in Bend and Terpening Terrace in Eugene.

Educational Programs

You’ll find intriguing presentations, seminars and classes throughout the year at Twin Creeks Retirement. Guest speakers are selected based on our residents’ interests and requests. We also take regular community trips to museums, libraries, theaters and other areas of interest to our residents.

Entertainment

Dances, concerts, parties and more: all right in your own home. We also take regular trips out into the Southern Oregon community to see plays, concerts and other entertainment events. You’ll also enjoy our country rides to all parts of Southern Oregon. Other day trips and overnight trips are also planned on a monthly basis. Have some popcorn and pull up a chair. Movies or sports events are scheduled daily in our Theater Room for more relaxed entertainment.

Lifetime Activities

Join one of our many groups of residents who get together to continue activities they’ve participated in for years or are just learning in retirement. Current groups include Bible study, bingo, bridge, chess, cribbage, dominoes, pinochle, poker, mahjong and watercolor class. There’s also a reader’s theater group and a Writer’s group that meet regularly.
